How Did You Get Started Coaching?
Five years ago, I read an article about coaching and knew I had found the perfect progression for my nursing career into something more.

I enrolled in Coach University for my basic coach training. I added the Dream Coach training to add value to my coaching “toolbox” and provide an additional structured coaching process for those clients who want to design their dream business and dream life.

I applied the Dream Coach process to my own life and it gave me the tools and strategies to move from my 28-year nursing career and a part time coaching business to a full time coaching business in about five months. 

Dream Coaching assisted me in finding my calling.  My nursing career was significant at the time and perfect experience for coaching, but it was never my passion, never what I was excited to get up and do each day!

Coaching aligns perfectly with my spiritual values of honesty, integrity, joy and service to others. And—the best part—I love it! 


What Interests You About Coaching?
It is amazingly rewarding to me when my clients discover or rediscover their passions and purpose in life.

Kids know how to dream, but adults—even if they’re successful—say, I can’t have that, or, I don’t deserve that. They have lost the art of creating possibilities in their life! I assist them in creating those possibilities. If you feel it is possible, it is then doable!

My interest in coaching is to inspire my clients to lives of greater happiness and satisfaction. It is an honor and joy to inspire and guide others to design and achieve their dream life, to empower them to believe in themselves and their dreams! The world needs people to pursue and live their dreams. That’s how we all make a difference!


What Contributions Have You Made to Coaching?
I am one of 100 certified Dream Coach Group Leaders worldwide and one of about 500 certified Dream Coaches, but my proudest achievement is being a catalyst for my clients to move forward and live the life of their dreams.

Perhaps my biggest strength as a coach is bringing out the spirit in others and allowing them to discover or rediscover their passions in life. How do I begin to do this? My clients often refer to me as “the focus coach” as they tell me I get them focused fast!


What’s Unique About Your Approach?
I am a Certified Dream Coach and I live that process. I have experienced purposefully bringing my life from a good life on the path to an amazing one!

The difference is astounding! I’ve seen both sides of a coaching practice. Expertise I've received from being coached and coaching others has changed my life, and my clients benefit from this experience as well.

Naturally, I bring my experiences to my practice as a coach. You’ll get sensitive, empathetic listening along with effective process, accountability and coaching expertise.

Nursing for 28 years has taught me a lot about people. For one thing, I’ve come to understand people’s values regardless of their backgrounds and how to relate to almost anyone on any level.

During coaching, we look closely at your values since living or not living in alignment with them is reflected in your satisfaction with your life.

My approach to coaching goes deeper than communication on a non-coaching level. Combining my life experience, inner strength and coach training creates a safe and strong foundation where clients gather the courage to explore their beliefs and dreams. Keen listening and working with clients on transformational levels—makes real growth and lasting change possible.


What’s Your Training?
I hold a BSN in Nursing from East Carolina University and have 28 years of nursing experience. This gives me a diverse background in the importance, resiliency and value of living a fulfilling life.

Over the past five years, I have been an active and professional life coach with training from Coach University, one of the longest running and most highly respected accredited coach training programs in the world.

I am a Certified Dream Coach and Certified Dream Coach Group Leader, programs also accredited by the International Coach Federation.
